We are pleased to inform that the paper of Katarzyna Szot-Karpińska was selected to be on the cover of the latest issue of Bioconjugate Chemistry! Great work! The paper describes M13 bacteriophages with a mutation in the gene VII, which specifically binds to carbon nanofibers (CNF) at the end where the pVII protein is located. Bacteriophage was selected from a phage library using the phage display technique. The properties of the mutated bacteriophage make it a prospective candidate for scaffold material for CNFs.
