We are pleased to inform that the paper of Katarzyna Szot-Karpińska was selected to be on the cover of the latest issue of Bioconjugate Chemistry! Great work! The paper describes M13 bacteriophages with a mutation in the gene VII, which specifically binds to carbon nanofibers (CNF) at the end where […]
We are happy to announce that Marta’s latest article about phage-based bioconjugates was just accepted in Bioconjugate Chemistry. You can read it here: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acs.bioconjchem.6b00596
Between November 28 to December 2 we hosted the most talented young people from the whole country on the short scientific workshop organized by Narodowy Fundusz na Rzecz Dzieci. The participants had an opportunity to perform experiments in our group connected with nanotechnology and surface modifications. Good job!
Joanna was invited to give a talk on 24th of November 2016 at the Institute of Physics NCU entailed “Surface modification for (bio)sensors”.
The result of the latest round of applications from the National Research Centre Poland (NCN) was just announced on their webpage. Joanna’s Opus application in collaboration with Prof. Sebastian Mackowski who leads the Optics of Hybrid Nanostructures Group at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun was accepted. The project with […]
This is the new webpage of the Surface Nanoengineering group. As of now it is very much under construction, but eventually it will grow into a functional page showing what research we do, what we publish and who we are.
